The planning, development and design of the Silver Spring Municipal Township Building involved the renovation of separate two properties located at 5 Willow Mill Park Road and 8 Flowers Drive.

Additions and renovations at 5 Willow Mill Park Road included:

  • new ceilings
  • new area partitions
  • new mechanical duct work
  • new plumbing fixture locations
  • installation of a new generator
  • new roof insulation
  • consolidation of all electrical services

This facility is occupied by approximately 20 Township personnel who support the Township Sewer Authority, Police Department and Department of Parks and Recreation.

The facility located at 8 Flowers Drive moved municipal services to one location, and includes Administrative Offices, and the Departments of Building and Codes, Planning and Zoning, and Information Technology.  This facility also includes a public community meeting room, an executive boardroom, office spaces, a work area and storage space.  Replacement ceilings and new roof insulation were installed. Additionally, the front entrance was re-configured to provide a receptionist area.
